Back in 2015 I photographed Jim and his family in my old studio at 99 Factory Street (The Picker Building). During our session he told me he was thinking about running for Mayor (he was previously Mayor for two terms in the 1980’s). He was elected Mayor, and I was overjoyed when I got the call that he needed an updated headshot that he could use for his upcoming re-election campaign.
A BIG congratulations to Jim for running unopposed in his re-election campaign. Read all about it here.
I’m hoping Jim and I get to work together again - I have this grand idea of having him standing in the middle of Main Street in downtown Nashua and creating a really dramatic portrait of him framed by the downtown buildings. I’m hoping we can make that image at some point.
