I’ve done a lot of photography for our local Arts & Culture paper THE HIPPO, and they know my story about the Muppet Proposal pretty well. So when one of the paper’s writers pitched a story about puppets and things involving puppets in the local NH area, they asked if I knew anybody that would like to be interviewed.
Hrm. Let me thing about that for a mome- YES! Yes I do!
The article involves much more than just me and Muppet Sid, Muppet Sara and Woz Watts, but I excitedly told them that I had the perfect cover stars for them, and they agreed to the idea of using my little Muppet doppleganger and friends for the cover.
We spent the afternoon at the studio photographing the puppets on a white background since it was going to be on the cover and I wanted to make sure we had lots of negative space to leave text and logos and everything.
A big THANK YOU to Hippo editor Amy Diaz for providing the little tiny puppets that the talent got to play with (and, c’mon, how meta is puppets wearing puppets? Genius!!).
Everyone had a really fun afternoon and I want to thank the Hippo for lettings us be part of their article.
