I'm totally juiced to announce that I'm part of a group exhibition titled "TOY STORY" at the Rockland Center for the Arts in Nyack, New York. The exhibition is from October 16th to December 4th 2011. I'm also totally totally juiced that I'm part of an exhibition with fellow fine artist Lori Nix. I've been a huge fan of Lori's work since college. I think about my first semester I came across an issue of Aperture that featured some of her early work. I've been a HUGE fan since.
What is also very cool is that my buds Erik Lawrence and Allison Miller of the Honey Ear Trio will be playing at the opening reception on October 16th. All the music they will be playing will be on TOY INSTRUMENTS!! how cool is that!!
I'm trying to make it to the opening. Maybe I'll see you there!
